Updated Advisory on Time limit for Reporting E Invoices on the IRP Portal.

GSTN has issued an updated advisory on time limit for Reporting of E Invoices on the IRP Portal as on 13th April 2023.

In which it is mentioned that the time limit for reporting invoices on IRP portal shall be applicable to all the document types (Invoice, Debit Note, Credit Note) for which IRN is to be generated . Thus, from now onwards the credit/ Debit note shall also have to be reported within 7 days of issue.
